In The Garden

A few pics from around the garden, we've been having monsoon rains which is great for plants, but not so good for time outside!
This iris was a gift from a friend, I have them scattered around my garden, they have settled in well.

Here are a few from around my garden this week, Flaming Spring Green is a real beauty, and I'm so glad to see them coming back year after year.  I find the fancy tulips can be a bit tricky to establish.
My Snowdrop Anemones have no trouble naturalizing, in fact they might be taking over a bit.  They are so lovely that I don't mind, though the buried Hosta (Patriot) might feel otherwise....

I was feeling a little ho hum after finally completing all of our beds/projects, and was in a holding patter to allow things to grow and fill in.  I purposely (with some difficulty) didn't look too closely at my beds for a few years, but am now...

We now have a variety of colours and blooms, the Double Flowering Plum is putting on a decent display (though not as impressive as the spring after we threatened to cut them down...)
