Here's the New Year's Resolution I can admit to no-one in my real life, but it's the only one I care enough to make:
I resolve to win my freedom this year...
Scary, ambitious (given my current situation), and entirely necessary to my sanity.

The sky this morning had a lovely, rose-colored, dreamy haze to it. It lent itself to my state of mind quite nicely.
I saw Aiden this week. It was a visit that we both sorely needed, the details of which may or not make it into a blog post - I'm finding that more and more I want to hold those details close, savor them in my head, and not share them. Not that it cheapens...

You know the one.. across a room, a table, a bed... that one that says so much with so little.
