Back in August we were delighted to have 2 Sisters come to visit all at AKP and use the venue for one of their quarterly In House Commercial Team meetings.
During the visit Richard gave a general overview of the business, whilst Tom gave the group an insight into our growing operation at AKP and Dave gave an outline of the trading activity in the UK and abroad....

Following the completion of an audit that was carried out in the middle of August, we are pleased to announce that the Health Fresh Foods ltd site has successfully been BRC accredited!
BRC is used by over 21,000 certified suppliers in 123 countries, with certification issued through a worldwide network of accredited bodies....

August has certainly been the month to invest and renovate here at AKP, from updating our transport to the latest environmentally friendly model to the installation of a roof-mounted solar system to power some of our potato stores.
The 193 kW solar system provides us with the electricity to generate 5 of our potato stores solely off solar power. Investing in this technology will save 91.12 tonnes of carbon annually and we are positive that we will see this reduction to continue...
