    Sweet potato coffee buns

Coffee bean infused milk and sweet potato dough was used for these fluffy spiced buns. They were really yummy smothered in a black treacle mascarpone cream.
The sweet potato in the dough keeps these buns super soft. The filling has sweet potato with a hint of coffee. I enjoy the flavours together....

    Roasted cauliflower mac and cheese

Roasted cauliflower mac and cheese, my ultimate comfort food dish for winter. The addition of whole grain mustard and lots of black pepper, add a delicous flavour with the mature cheddar cheese and nutty roasted cauliflower.
I like to roast the cauliflower rather than boiling it as i love the flavour that it gets. I like to add some of the cauliflower leaves too....

Latticed leek and Stilton tart with oat and walnut pastry

Latticed leek Stilton and ricotta tart, i love the creamy texture of this tart, its based off my savoury cheesecake recipe.
The pastry is quite short and crumbly but works really well with the creamy rich flavours of the filling.
The latticed leek creates a really pretty look to the tart, great to serve when you have guest over....

    Cauliflower cheese and leek pie

We love this cauliflower cheese pie, its a few of our favourite things together in one.
I make it a few times a month, sometimes with different pastry.
We often adapt it and add mustard, or different cheese, but this was the last one we enjoyed.
