Just to let everyone know that Tri'd and Tested will be shutting down permanently as of today.
I may start up another blog at some point soon but there will be less emphasis on triathlon as I don't foresee myself doing many of those this year. It will probably be more running based...I'll let you know....

Am having to cancel the Winter Series this month due to adverse weather.
Banks of snow are piled up on the roadsides at the moment and it would be virtually impossible to get any kind of decent run in.
The forecast for today was supposed to have been particularly bad...there was a bit of snow this morning but since then...zip...nada? Maybe we are in for another heavy fall during the night?...

Ah yes the snow had mostly gone and had been replaced with a steady drizzle by the time that Stuart and myself toddled along to last night's hill session.
Stuart was going to be slightly late so I just went out and made a start at 5.30....I had four in the bag by the time he arrived and was pleased to note that I was getting a minimum of 10 secs rest on each rep....This is very pleasing as up until recently...

Okay that's my first run for a few days.
I was looking out of the window fairly anxiously around five o'clock as another heavy snow shower belted down covering everything in a thick white blanket....I'd made my mind up that I was heading out......5.15pm, the snow had stopped and everything...
