    HP printers start rejecting budget ink cartridges

    Large numbers of HP printer owners found their printers stopped recognising unofficial printer ink cartridges on 13 September.
    Dutch printer ink vendor 123inkt said it had received more than 1,000 complaints in one day.
    HP said that during its last firmware update, settings had been changed so HP printers would communicate with only HP-chipped cartridges....

    iPhone passcodes can be bypassed using just £75 ($100) of electronic components, research suggests.
    A Cambridge computer scientist cloned iPhone memory chips, allowing him an unlimited number of attempts to guess a passcode.

    Dispute over games removed from Steam

    Games made by Digital Homicide have been removed from the Steam game-playing service after the studio was branded “hostile” to customers.
    Steam-owner Valve acted after some users claimed the studio was suing them for giving its games bad reviews.
