The boys had a Star Wars Science class this morning. Jonah and Jaedyn wanted to know what we were going to do. Since my only plan was to hit the libraries I was very non-committal. Jaedyn had the great idea to go to a science/children's museum.
We got there shortly after it opened so we had the place pretty much to ourselves....

We met some friends at the zoo last week. One of our favorite things to do at the zoo is feed the birds.
Is anyone singing the song from Mary Poppins? Just me. Okay then.

Every October, Tyler hosts an annual Rose Festival, complete with a parade and royal tea. Due to football games, we once again didn't make it to the parade Saturday morning but I was determined Jaedyn & I would not miss the tea this year.
The elite of Tyler donate to nominate the Rose Queen and her court. One of my friends that went with us told me the highest donation gets to pick the queen, and then the court is ordered by donation as well. The theme of the year was My Favorite Things...
