Stuff by Ash

My daughter loves Brave.  Well, she loves playing Brave and fantasizing about Brave, but didn’t so much love the movie itself.  It’s sort of a weird thing . . But she wanted a Brave birthday and so that is what she got.
We were just having family over for dinner and cake and ice cream, but I still think you can have a little celebration with some fun things and a theme.  (And still not spend a ton of money!)...

Another baby boy gift.  This one I made for a cousin who is giving it to a new nephew.

I bought it without really having a project in mind, but figured I’d use it eventually.  I just had to have it then and there!...

I made this print for my mantle.  I made it huge – 11x14 – and completely love it.
I put it in a bright frame that I spray painted, along with some spray painted branches that I hung some easter eggs on.  It looks like Pinterest threw up above our fire place, but it makes me smile every time I see it!...

I have no problem thinking of cute frilly handmade gifts for baby girls.  But with boys I am always stumped.  So this is pretty much my go to baby boy gift.
The Pee Pee Teepees and tie onesies are super simple.  I can whip them both up and have it wrapped in a nap time.  I usually throw in a pair of Target pants, you can use usually get them for $4 or $5, which makes this not only a simple handmade gift...
