On April 19th Erin Gruwell returned to Sacramento last week to speak about her experience in Long Beach with the Freedom Writers. She brought Jeremy Asay, a trained Freedom Writer teacher, with her to speak about the Freedom Writer Institute.
Sacramento has been chosen as a Freedom Writer Institute site. This means that between 20 and 30 educators in Sacramento will have the opportunity to go to Long Beach this summer for a week of professional development with Erin and the Freedom Writers... -
