So it's been awhile... As always, work has been too consuming. Coupled with moving into a new house, let's just say my days have been long and hard.
So what have I been up to? Well, I survived another year end (woohoo!), got my first bonus with the company (double woohoo!), and got promoted (triplee woohoo!). Alhamdullilah for all his blessings this year. I truly couldn't ask for more....

So we bought a house recently. Nothing big, just a cosy nest for the three of us. It's currently undergoing renovation but I've already started looking for colour schemes for the house, particularly the living room.
I've decided to go for a 'summer in the English countryside' theme. Haha super-pretentious. Imagine blue skies, yellow daffodils, white daisies, green grass. Something along the lines of this:...

In times like these, Yasmin not yet having a baju kurung for raya morning seems so trivial.
Praying that the violence ends soon and that justice will prevail.
What a sombre raya this year will be.

I've lost the energy to blog. Instagram is so much easier. But don't think I'll be closing down the blog. You never know, maybe inspiration will come one day and I will be on a blogging spree.
