PBW2 SSL Certificate and Firefox
Users of Mozilla Firefox may see an error message about an untrusted SSL certificate when trying to log into PBW2. This is caused by Firefox no longer trusting Startcom, the certificate authority used by the site.
It appears that Mozilla has decided to play politics with the SSL certificate provider used by PBW2, and no longer trusts newly signed certificates.... -

PBW2 was down for an extended period of time today as a result of a DOS attack against our hosting provider. Services have now been restored.
No site data was lost. -

Some of our databases became corrupted. Unfortunately, it appears that the backup solution that was in place stopped creating usable backups after April 2014. We were able to fully restore the main database for SpaceEmpires.net, but PBW2's backups were...
