2016 was a year like no other and yet a year of vague familiarities.

At least for the time I'm catching up, I feel like I'm living life backwards on the blog!
It also looks like all we've done is travel which is absolutely not true.....but I do want to get our travels down to remember later.
So......going way, way back to August 2015, we took a short vacation to Savannah, GA....

After Venice, it was back on the tour bus and on toward Florence.  The nice thing about the tour was that we stopped in so many places before getting to the destination for that day.
On the way to Florence, we stopped at Cathedral Square & Azienda Ospedaliero Universitaria Pisa.....the leaning tower of Pisa!  Pictures never do justice to the way you see it with your eyes, but this is the best I can do.......

So........
The highlight of 2015 was my first and perhaps last trip out of the country if you don't count Mexico which is attached so I'm not counting!  I also have half hispanic grandchildren so I feel that Mexico is my country too.
I went as a tag a long......or as I sometimes call it, a beg a long.   Sister Cathy and her friend, Melanie were planning a trip to Italy and I whined enough that I got to go too.  It was the trip of a life time and I hope I can do the trip justice with...
