Every once in a while, humans create really cool stuff at the intersection of technology, finance and psychology. The psychology part is crucial: it’s not enough to create something good — it needs to match human behavior.
Otherwise nobody would use it....

Every Q4, a few predictable things happen: people start planning their year-end holidays, companies start planning business for next year, and students start getting freaked out over exams.
You’ve been through this whole crazy exam thing, so you know what I’m talking about. And despite its questionable results, I don’t think our overemphasis on standardized exams is going away anytime soon. So students keep on cramming like it’s the end...

I was recently at a young lawyers’ event together with Suraya of Ringgit Oh Ringgit, when the audience threw us a tough question:
“How do you be responsible with money, when there’s lots of social pressure?”
Now of course, the standard answer is it’s about “balance.” You don’t wanna be so stingy until you lose all your family and friends. Neither do you wanna say “Yes!” to everything until you’re broke....

Everybody wants to be rich. Right?
Or do they really?
I recently came across this idea after reading one of those long, in-depth articles that makes you question everything you believe in.
