On Friday, we had our ward Christmas party. Ellie mostly enjoyed it because she got to hang out with her best friend Sarah Fedor. Miles got to be in charge of the craft (painting wooden snowflakes), and Ian got to hang out with Dale.

It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas
The day after Thanksgiving we took a trip to the Louisville temple to do baptisms for the dead. We made a quick stop at Chick-fil-A and then went to the Louisville zoo.

This year feels like a lot of lasts. Last Fourth of July with Ian home, last big vacation with Ian home, and now our last Thanksgiving with Ian home.

Our final day at sea was a little bittersweet. We knew we were headed home, and although it is always nice to be home...none of us were entirely ready to leave behind tropical beaches and ancient Mayan cities.
