Taking on a creative task is scary. It’s scary because we don’t have the answers upfront. And theres no certainty that we’re going to reach the right answer. Or if there even is a right answer.
Often there’s not.
This can stop people in their tracks. They’ll dutifully do the day-to-day stuff, using ‘busyness’ as an excuse not to put themselves out there, on the creative front line. Really, they’re scared of being shot down....

In ethics there’s a thought experiment called ‘The Trolley Problem’. This is a little morbid, but bare with me.

Sticking to a set of values gets you a long way in work, and life. You values are what define you and set you apart from others. They guide you in every decision.
In life, it might be that you never, under any circumstance, pay for anything on credit. Or maybe you always start your day with meditation. Or you call you friends and family once a week. Whatever it is, these values are part of what defines you....
