I have a question about how Kodi manages its cache. Even with plenty of available memory, I’ve noticed that for some files, Kodi uses a cache of exactly 8 seconds—nothing more.
For other files, it uses what the info display labels as "forward" caching; it doesn't use the maximum possible amount, so I assume it allocates some memory for other tasks and for "backward" caching....

Since the 4th of July I can no longer add new movies. I only have 240 movies in the computer and it was working fine before that.

Updated to Piers Beta 1.  Whenever I try to refresh a show from an NFO file, it just clears the information for the series.  Here is my log file from attempting to refresh the series "American Gladiators", for example:

I'd like to split the movie section into three distinct sections: movies, documentaries, theatre, each with their own home menu entry.
I have already cloned the 'Movies' entry in the main menu and have those cloned entries open separate sections of my library, filtered respectively....
