The (users)settings file is a .xml file and needs to be a valid .xml file with a header (<?xml etc.)
For my own personal project i have created a repair module that, on startup, adds the header. Neatly, so that the settings are in perfect condition.... -

zatto pvr, pi4: After Reboot the Eye indicator on recordings disappear
I have a lot of pvr recordings. The proble I have, is after a reboot the eye on the already seen recordings disappear. I have then to pres play to see if I get a resume on a certain time. So I know If I have seen the recording.
