Of all the projects the our Earth Lovers Team (Food Lover’s Market’s CSI division) work with this is one of my personal favourites.

It is an alien? Was there purple rain? No, it’s like a regular cauliflower and it originates from Canada. The purple colour is caused by the presence of anthocyanins (an antioxidant), which can also be found in red cabbage and blueberries.
The colour can vary from pastel to a deep purple. The cauliflower is a great source of vitamin C, K, B6 and fibre....

“I tasted cappuccino for the very first time and that’s when I fell in love with coffee,” he says, although the high caffeine content kept him up for four days.
“I used to drink instant coffee, but this was a different experience for me,” he adds.
From then on, his mind was made up that he’d pursue a career in the coffee industry....
