2018 was the year I started a series of mixed media paintings of an imaginary land called Brinwyndale. Mostly messy gardens and birds so far but also some white houses on hills and a town full of white dogs, and I have plans for so much more in this...

I have been creating.... I just haven’t posted much as I have been a bit mentally overwhelmed by learning a new day job.  But here’s some new art to show you all I really have still been creating....
This kind of art is perfect for times when you don’t want to think or worry.... you just want to relax and watch paint flow. Better than meditation ..... or maybe it IS meditation. Painting meditation. But the job is going well so I should be back posting...

The insomnia circles came to life......
It was a fun challenge to try to continue in my 100 days of characters with inanimate objects instead of kid characters. There will definitely be more flower characters in the works. It was impossible not to go there with all this floral inspiration...
