Life Onward

Okay, okay, I won't hold out any longer!  We met up with our friends Dan & Mary (who make up the duo that is Carlson Photography) one cool Spring evening before Memorial Day weekend and let them do their thing.  First we met at a local covered bridge...

Ezra's Winter hopes and desires were finally fulfilled when we went for our first boat ride of the season a couple weeks ago.  :)  XuBin quickly caught the enthusiasm of his big brother, shouting "faster" as we were pulling away from the dock.
Afterward we spent time on our little beach.  Ezra hung out on the dock with Grandma while XuBin gleefully played in the water.  I will need to have my eyes on him at all times at the beach this Summer.  Two words:  Not Afraid....

I have lots of catching up to do here!  But for now, it's time to celebrate my sweet Ellie.  She turned 9 on Monday.  She's our pokemon loving, belly giggling, science and nature enthusiast.
She loves exploring, conducting science experiements, and studying plants, flowers, birds, life cycles and creature habits and habitats.  If you have a question, ask her.  9 times out of 10 she will tell you what you want to know.  A walking encyclopedia...

Spring is here!  It's really truly here!  I cannot believe we had temps in the 80's today.  Popsicles and shorts weather!
Yesterday I switched out the boys' dresser contents, pulling most of the long pants and long sleeved shirts and replacing with clothes for warmer weather.  What I discovered is that XuBin's summer wardrobe was complete, thanks to Ezra... and Ezra's summer...
