Aston Villa will be on a high when Nottingham Forest visits Villa Park this evening. The wins over Derby County and Birmingham City this month have been massive improvements for the club.
Complacency is something that springs to mind, however. In the past, we have been notorious for coming off the back off a big win and not turning up for the following game. It will be interesting to see if this differs now we have Dean Smith in charge... -

Sunday saw us beat local rivals Birmingham City 4-2 at Villa Park but it wasn’t all smiles on the day. Albert Adomah was literally carried off in what looked like a pretty nasty injury to the Ghanian.
At first, it didn’t look that bad as he looked to be limping but the pain must have been unbearable as the physio had to resort to giving him a piggy-back down the tunnel. It is yet to be revealed just how serious the injury is. However, he was photographed... -

Aston Villa made sure yet again that their supporters would be the ones bouncing into work on Monday morning. A resounding 4-2 victory over Birmingham City pretty much gives an accurate oversight of the match.
Villa’s defence was somewhat under par, gifting opportunities on a number of occasions. But going forwards there was a constant threat combining quality deliveries with pace and power, which causing a ragged Blue’s back line all sorts of problems.... -
