Tales from the Arctic

Hello readers!
Well, it is time. I have officially moved on over to my new blog Tales from the Yukon, which is coming to you in two forms: a low-bandwidth version hosted by blogger (for all of my bandwidth restricted readers) and a normal/high-bandwidth version hosted...

My parents arrived back in NB after a 8-week long trek across Canada. They traveled over 22,000 km and drove through 7 provinces and two territories. And of course, they took pictures.
And just to give me (and you readers) a glimpse of what I am about to travel/move to in 26 more sleeps:...

Nothing is better than waking up in the morning and hiking on down to the local strawberry u-pick. Yummy yummy strawberries in my tummy! And raspberries are starting to come into swing too .. although no local ones yet to be found.

Sigh, I love staring at curriculum documents! HA! Yeah right ... well not that my curriculum documents have been to much of a help either!
So I am enlisting the help of my readers. I have to do a novel study with my grade 5/6 group next year (and by the sounds of it I will be reading the book chapter by chapter to them) and I am trying to decide on a book to read to them for this group...
