The Starke County Commissioners will hold a regular meeting this upcoming Tuesday, February 17th.
The meeting will take place at 8:30am Central Time, at the Starke County Annex Building at 53 East Mound Street in Knox.
Commissioners will receive a monthly report from EMS, and will discuss extensions on two moratoriums; one for Battery Energy Storage Systems, and one for Commercial Solar Energy Systems....

The Francesville Volunteer Fire Department has announced that they will be holding a breakfast at the fire station in March.
The pancake, sausage, and eggs breakfast will be served by the local fire department members, and admission is a free will donation decided by individuals....

An announcement from the City of La Porte’s Police Department on Thursday stated that the Department’s Detective Bureau is asking for the public’s help in identifying a person and/or a vehicle.
The individual they are seeking is a person of interest in an open investigation of a theft that occurred at Sacred Heart Church in La Porte. The theft took place on February 7th around 5:37pm....

On Thursday, the Starke County Board of Zoning Appeals made an announcement in regards to the meeting and public hearings that were held the previous evening, Wednesday, February 11th.
All three petitions that were originally heard and voted on during that meeting have been rescheduled for a new public hearing, to be held on Tuesday, March 3rd, at 5:30pm Central Time, at the Starke County Annex 1’s Meeting Room, located at 53 East...
