This has been three years in the making.  It wasn't suppposed to happen that way but, unfortunately, we ran into many obstacles.
First was the long process our township makes you go through before disturbing the ground (aka putting in a pond).  Being that we are so close to a state park, the township needs to control any run off that may filter into nearby streams.  So, there...

We've enjoyed watching Gabby swim her little heart out.  It's amazing how each time she swims, you can see her confidence build as she powers down the lane focused and determined.  Her best stroke is Freestyle but her Backstroke is coming along too.
I grabbed a few pictures at the Seahorse's last duel meet for this year.  It's a lot of early Saturday morning wake-up calls but, it's worth it....

When the kids are jumping on the trampoline laughing, being goofy, and showing off their best tricks and the dogs are romping around in the leaves playing cat and mouse, thats when you grab your camera and set it to continous shoot.
Continous Shooting is a technique that allows you to hold down the shutter button while the camera continuously captures your moving objects.  On high-speed, my camera takes 6.5 shots in a second and on low-speed 3 shots in a second....
