To All the Pioneers...

I cannot believe I leave Europe tomorrow. I had wanted to come here for over ten years, planned for the past seven, and saved money for the last five.
Me and my "old" sense of strength.
And I did it. I fucking did it.

Can I be honest? My heart is literally breaking. It has never hurt like this before. I'm so happy here and I never want to go back "home."

My first food order in Sevilla: "Yo quiero Espanol cerveza muy grande por favor."
(My bilingual cousin Brittney is probably rolling her eyes at how awful my Spanish speaking is.)
The waitress laughed and brought back this mug the size of my head. Threw it back within five minutes. She let me have it for half the price because it was quite obvious I hadn't eaten all day....

It's my sixth night here in Italy and Greece is still all I can think about. I get stoked every time I meet someone from Greece here just so I can speak Greek and discuss all things Greek with them.
So how have I coped with the emptiness I feel being away from Greece? I drink. Oh gosh, have I been drinking. (I am in the heart of Tuscany after all)....
