The Romaine lettuce that Ma has in the fridge has started to turn.  She had hoped that the CDC would have narrowed down the source of the E.coli contamination that has them recommending that no one eat any Romaine lettuce, no matter where it came from...

I bought a Lansky Deluxe 5-Stone Sharpening System to upgrade from the free-hand stones and diamond sharpeners I've used for years.
I had a decent crock stick sharpener that disappeared when we moved house last year and I suspect Ma dropped it off at Goodwill with a couple dozen trips worth of stuff she donated when we downsized homes....

I don't recall seeing these Sweet Hawaiian Crescents rolls before, and it says, "New!" on the label.
I also bought some 'lil smokies sausages while on an early morning grocery run to Kroger, and had coupons for both.  I reckon I'll make some pigs in a blanket with them to try 'em out....
