i love my quiet mornings....after the rush of getting the kids ready and out the door for school.  on the days i can, i sit and drink my coffee; i turn on music to one of my favorite songs.  i day dream about life and scroll through endless pictures...

man, life can be tough.  but guess what, we survived it.  one year ago, i didn't really know how quickly life could change.  it can knock you off your feet.  but it can also stand you right back up.    thank you for your thoughtful notes and prayers...

it's hard to put into words what last week was like.  i awoke at 4:30 AM on sunday and looked out my living room window and saw our cars about to be submerged with water.  i ran to get warren up; he raced outside in boxers and crawled through the tailgates...

we're preparing for lots of rain here in the southeast....it's crazy, it sends everyone into a tizzy.  i just left the grocery store w/ a cart full of things that i didn't need...and then searched the city for sand bags.  it's not even raining yet!!...
