Parisian Adventures

It's been a long time since I've published here! Even with the best intentions, I've been unable to manage two blogs at the same time.
I've started to translate my main blog called Sur un Boeing Bleu de Mer (On a Sea-Blue Boeing) in English. Only a few articles are available at the present time but all of my new posts will be published at the same time in French and in English....

It is surprising to see how the vegetation changes in as little as one week. When I left for Montreal, only the magnolia had bloomed, leaves had not come out yet.
This week cherry blossoms are blooming and trees are filling out. Weather this week-end will be sunny and warm (20 C!), I hope we'll have a nice spring this year!...

For the longest time, I thought that beautiful sunsets never occurred over Paris. My first  parisian apartment located on the first floor had no view and to make matters worse, was facing North.
My new appartement has given me a new lease on life, on the sixth floor right above the surrounding roofs, we are facing South-West : from my living room I can watch the most beautiful sunsets every night....

There are approximately 200 000 dogs for 2,21 millions people in Paris.  Although you will probably meet dogs in restaurants, cafés and shops most parks are not dog friendly.  Oddly enough, part of the Tuileries garden is accessible...
