Ozzy was on assignment from Grandmother Temaroa to meet someone named Mist.  He was sitting in The Soldier's Head bar just after midnight on New Year's Day - the Fota of Phaebin, 10193.
Mist was on her way up from Trackless Wood in the company of a talkative bard named Jeric.  Jeric lived in Mintar City and knew The Soldier's Head by reputation - which wasn't very good....

Diablo got a call from a woman who would remain nameless offering decent nuyen for a simple transport-and-guard job.  Take some crates from a warehouse to the Space Needle for a trideo shoot and then take it back again at the end of the day.
In the meantime, Kestral was off meeting a lawyer about an upcoming court date to try to get to the next stage of unlocking her family's finances while Kitsume was off meeting an old beau of his grandmother's, who turned out to be Kestral's guardian...

Angelequa had settled in nicely with the rest of the party while they took downtime for a month refitting and upgrading their new fortress home.  But after feasting and chillin' for a few weeks they were eager to get on and see about destroying that...

Hondo is a newly trained shaman and wants to get out in the world and test his spiritual mettle.  His grandmother hooked him up with her other grandson's - Kitsume's - crew who, conveniently, had just been given a new mission.
The mission was simple enough - head off into the wilderness and find the majo who had escaped the Yakuza in Japan, made her way to Seattle, and wandered off from there for her own reasons.  We were fitted out with guns, ammo, gear, a couple of dirt...
