Today we laid the kitchen floor - the new, funky "floating" floor from Armstrong.

Today was a good day - I got a working toilet! Although there is still no running water in the bathroom sink, at least I can stop running into the backyard to go to the bathroom - and this is, after all, a good thing.
The toilet and sink look very nice int he bathroom, especially with the faux stone floor. I really like the look - although I have to change my bathroom color from coral to slate blue. This isn't a huge deal, I wasn't really married to coral, anyway...

We got the cabinets today!!! Yippee!! I was so excited to see the Lowe's truck backing down the hill to get into our driveway.
We now have some of the cabinets for the kitchen, and we have a shower, a tub and a toilet! Of course, we have no plumbing, but all in good time, I am told, all in good time....
