The Blog that Used to Be About Australia

I'm beginning to understand why there is all this fighting between the left and right about whether someone or something is racist or not.
It seems we define it completely differently.
This was brought to my attention with a recent Instagram post. Well, the post didn't bring it to my attention but the comments did....

We went to Disney World in December.  It was a great trip, but I have some difficult feelings regarding it, because we failed to fulfill some of our usual traditions.
I SHOULD just concentrate on the positive, but this is my blog and I want to dwell a bit on our failures....

This is probably somewhat silly for me to write because, as far as I know, I'm not dying.
Also, if I do happen to die, I don't know if anyone pertinent will read this before disposing of my body.
Thirdly, is it kind of silly to worry about what's going to be happening after you're dead?  Like I'm not going to be there, so why should I care?  Even if there is an afterlife, I'll probably be busy settling in and not so worried about what's going...

I found this open letter today, via Twitter, and it's one of the best things I've read in terms of this whole Trump nightmare.
I love when I find things, that other people, have written that so perfectly express my feelings.
I didn't have as huge a jump in wokeness as the letter writer.  But I did have some major changes in perspective, so I can relate. And his pre-woke viewpoints remind me of what I've heard from family members, friends, people on social media, etc. So...
