The Protect-Data and Unprotect-Data cmdlets included in NetCmdlets provide a simple way to encrypt and decrypt data. Support for various symmetric algorithms including:
AES (default)
Blowfish

When a user wants to set an IP Address value using Set-SNMP, he should pass “IPAddress” to the “-type” parameter.  From there, our software will convert each quadrant of the value to a byte, resulting in four bytes being sent to the server.
If a user does not specify a “-type” then our Cmdlet will use “OctetString” by default, resulting in a loss of information to the server as only the first four bytes of the ASCII string will be sent....

Sync system time with Internet time server
NetCmdlet’s Get-Time cmdlet uses the Internet TIME protocol to query Internet time server’s for the current time. It can also be used to sync the time on the local system with that of the time server.
