Ahoy Matey's!
Arrrr, a pirate's treasure we were after. Me husband and two of our mates joined together to seek after some hidden booty.
We only had one hour to find hidden clues, open locked chests and solve the mystery as to where the treasure was hidden....

What was going to be a girls riding horses kinda afternoon
turned into a double date with our husbands, making it an even better day for riding horses.
Both our husbands, whom have never met until today, happen to have riding bikes in common.

It's November!
I can welcome it warmly now that I've had my fun with October and truly, family traditions can still be enjoyed with or without having children at home.
The house still gets decorated, Halloween picture frames with the kids old and young sit on the mantle. Witches and pumpkins, ghost and skeletons hang around finding themselves in every room. Scented candles fill the air as well as baked bread and cookies...

With sewing machine in hand and a bag filled with sewing and quilting supplies draped over my shoulder I walked in to the home of the gal who instructs our quilt class.
We meet one Friday a month to work on our year long project.
When I walked through her door the wonderful smell of baked cookies filled the air.  It's not common for her to bake for us and in the past I was fooled by a candle which had the scent of baked cookies....
