I've been feelin' sorta heavy-hearted these last couple days, and when you're older than 16 you can't be vague on the internet anymore, so what the buns, let's just dig in. Enjoy the following candid personal musings:
a) Heavy-hearted is probably the wrong phrase. Just generally emotional is probably a more accurate way to say it, 'cause it's not just a "I feel sad!" sort of thing, but more of a whole smorgasbord of "I feel [blank]"s washing in on the tide, happy...

I've cut out all but the lightest spoilers, but if you really don't have any idea about the structure of the game or don't want to know, don't read on.
Looking at just the parts of the game between the approximate midpoint and the beginning of the endgame, Skyward Sword is probably the most exciting game in the series. It sticks to a large overarching pattern, but within that pattern it dances and twists...

Now that I'm done with the game, here's my thoughts on the final dungeon and endgame. Instead of separating it into good and bad and iffy, I'll just go through in order. SPOILERS:
-The cutscene introducing Sky Keep was very funny, then somewhat awe-inspiring. Well played, you guys....

So now I've played through the next big portion of the game, from the end of the Fire Sanctuary to learning the Song of the Hero. I've also finished all the Gratitude Crystal side quests, though I don't have much to say about them. Spoilers:
