Imagine. You live in Mallaig, an historic busy little fishing port on the West coast opposite the Southern end of Skye.
You need to make a hospital visit to Inverness. Not too difficult, but it will take all day to go there and back. You get the early morning train to Fort William. Then you wait five minutes for the bus to Inverness at 7.30. No probs. Same kind of thing...

DRAGON'S TOOTH golf at Ballachulish. Its name comes from the mountain behind it. No one minds losing a ball or two here. They look at the view and feel better immediately.
It is one of the most dramatic and beautiful loch-side locations in the Highlands. It is not hard to see why golfers from all over the world love this little course. The course lies on a picturesque pocket of an undulating, tree-lined estate at the entrance...
