I’m using VHDX backups since they have started working normally (there were some issues fixed for version 2.5.2x, few years back), and since then not issues generally speaking. My image backups are lower than 2TB though. Windows and Linux volumes.

Constant reindexing on the client
I cannot see such error in logs. Logs are the same as in initial post. Some more fresh:

Getting error "Backup had an early error."
still trying to get this working…..
It’s NOT an Win11 issue. One of my Win11 clients works fine now. Without any changes, never tested with this client.
It’s also NO issues with (“Computerschutz”). Doesn’t matter if this is one or off. Urbackup seams to create own VSC for backup.... -

ERROR_JOURNAL_NOT_ACTIVE 1179 (0x49B) The volume change journal is not active.
So basically the change journal was not active in OP. It tries to enable it, but maybe that did not work. Maybe try to enable the change journal yourself and see if it outputs any errors?...
