We are excited to confirm two wonderful guest speakers, writer Trent Dalton and publisher Aviva Tuffield,  who will be joining Kristina Olsson when she teaches our inaugural Writing a Novel program.
We are delighted that Trent Dalton (Boy Swallows Universe and All Our Shimmering Skies) will be joining, Kristina to talk about writing his recent bestselling novels....

Writing can be at once tough and exhilarating, and I look for signs of resilience, passion and commitment, a sense that this is work, but work with rich personal rewards....

FWA: Can you tell us a little bit about the history of Faber Academy?
JC: Faber Academy began eleven years ago as one person with a laptop and a phone in the basement of the Faber headquarters in Bloomsbury. Its growth since then has been spectacular, going from one course a year to over a hundred run during 2020, as well...

The judges were incredibly impressed with the standard of applications in both categories, giving a sense of the quality of work being done around the country in these genres.
We look forward to welcoming the recipients into our programs shortly.
