Exposing Security Software

This test was performed on August 24, 2015. (AVG Internet Security 2015.0.6125)
AVG comes with a lot of what PUPs. You can call them whatever you want, but proposing browsers and pc 'optimization' tools is not really good PR for antivirus software.
AVG has scored pretty strangely in the test, I do not know how to rate it. It has detected and flagged CLT testing file and survived kill5 test....

This test was performed on August 20, 2015. (SpyShelter Firewall 10.0)
"SpyShelter Protects you where your antivirus can't" - although it is not an antivirus, I picked it up to see if it can block my keylogger.
I have chosen the SpyShelter Firewall over Premium version because SpyShelter Premium does not have a Firewall module (compare them here) - all previous tested applications had firewall module. Firewalls are also a huge part of CLT score....

Short summary of the test: $49.95 for an antivirus that removes popular viruses and protects itself from being killed. Seems cheaper than Kaspersky Total Security - if you don't care about protection, ESET is cheaper and roughly offers the same level...
