Greek Salad - a blog from Greece!

A couple of days are passing quickly in case you haven´t noticed it yourself... :)
I decided to put a frame on my mixed media art work after all....
Maybe it was better without, I don´t really know what I think actually... :)

Love when I´m being creative! But it seems like I need a deadline...!
Now only the frame is missing, or maybe my mixed-media art work is o.k without? Haven´t quite decided yet...
I´ll show you in a couple of days...

The flowering period of the almond trees has finished, but that´s o.k, because now the wonderful cherry trees are blooming!
Mandelträden har slutat blomma, men det gör inte så mycket för nu är det körsbärsträdens tur!
Cherry trees are quite common in Athens, in private gardens, on pavements and in parks. The trees are quite easy to recognize because of the brown or dark red leaves....

Yesterday the strange thing happened that the Independence day parade was cancelled here in Glyfada due to rain! It has been raining many other years and the parade has never been cancelled before.
Igår inträffade det underliga att nationaldagens parad ställdes in här i Glyfada! Det har regnat många gånger förut, men paraden har alltid hållits ändå....
