Once that spark is lit, it can grow quietly, not only reaching others but also spreading within us if we allow it....

I’m not sure it’s always a “must.” But we can learn how to do it, how to notice the moments that feel like an opening, when a possibility drifts in.
And it doesn’t have to be a grand dream....

When we start with what’s true, imagination can expand our possibilities.
Sometimes our mind gets creative in ways that aren’t helpful: filling in the blanks with assumptions, jumping to conclusions, or building whole storylines on top of very little....

Comfort doesn’t have to mean softening or shrinking, it can also be what steadies you.
There’s a kind of comfort that doesn’t ask you to shrink, settle or soften yourself.
It doesn’t mean pretending things are fine or glossing over what hurts.
