Has it really been over six months since my last post?
I always say that I mean to blog more often but the trouble is if I was sit down and write everything that goes on in my head I’d likely do nothing else other than, well, sit down and write.
I also can’t believe that it’s almost a year since my 40th birthday.  I could tell you about everything that’s happened since then but it would take up half the internet and, to be perfectly honest, I think I would struggle to remember half of it.  Anyway...

Ever since that famous fracas over a steak last year, there can’t have been many days when the plans for the new series of Top Gear haven’t been getting discussed in the papers and on the internet.
The first thing we knew is that Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May wouldn’t be appearing in it. They’re off with their old producer Andy Wilman to set up a new show which will debut later this year on Amazon Prime....
