The McBride Hetherington's Take Europe

We looked at the weather forcast before we left.  It did say rain.  But, and I quote, Jeff said, 'you know how when you go places and it just rains lightly for a bit, then it's done?  I'm sure that's how it is in Menaggio.'
Well, let me tell you how it is here when it says rain. It doesn't just rain...it thunders down rain and pours from the heavens.  Not for an hour, but for all day!  My god, even in the tropics I have never seen rain like this.  I think it's worsened...

I guess I'll try to keep a little blog to keep all you lovely friends and family abreast of The McBride Hetherington's take Europe part 2!!
Let me start with the plane trip here, mainly because I want immense sympathy!  After that is done I'll take you to the good stuff (like what I ate)....

Sorry there has been no post's lately!!  With no Internet it was hard to keep up...kids don't want to sit quietly in coffee shops while mama tinkers around- that is for sure!!
We really didn't do much in our last days.  Just walked to the village, ate, had coffee's, did some mild shopping, played at the park, and dreamt of home....
